The ASUS M4N82 Deluxe motherboard comes in good packaging. Enough foam to keep it from becoming damaged during transportation. I definitely like to see it when it arrived well packed.

I did not really enjoy, where ASUS decided to lay the SATA connectors on the motherboard. They are located at the end of the board, so you want to make sure you have enough cable to access the hard drive. But that's not such a big problem, it can be circumvented, and ASUS is not expected to know where people have found their hard drives.

Back to this BIOS update, you can update your BIOS, allegedly before you begin the installation of each processor. This iswell if you expect to insert a AM3 type of processor. I did not do it, but apparently there is the possibility to do so.

What about this motherboard is very cool that I did not bother formatting the hard drive and went straight on and booted up Windows, if I had built up the computer again. It loaded single window well without a problem. How cool is that? I would not recommend everyone does the same.
